SAR Noise Jamming Performance Evaluation Using SAR-ATR

چکیده
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is valuable military tool that can generate high-resolution images in any illumination or weather condition. As SAR be used for hostile purposes, it important to develop jamming techniques degrade the quality of images. Jamming performance evaluation (JPE) metrics are evaluate effectiveness systems. Existing JPE using Euclidean distance correlation coefficients, but they vary significantly depending on reference image. This makes difficult intuitively noise-jamming performance. In this study, we propose a new metric based detection rate through SAR-automatic target recognition (ATR). The proposed uses directly infer image, which main objective jamming. allows direct image validity metric.

Performance Analysis of Atr from Sar Imagery
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images are used in a ten-class automatic target recognition system using data from the public release of the MSTAR program. A likelihood ratio-based approach for target recognition is adopted using the conditionally Gaussian model. The target orientation is assumed to be unknown and uniformly distributed. The target orientation is estimated, along with the target ...
متن کاملTemplate-Based SAR ATR Performance Using Different Image Enhancement Techniques
The Lincoln Laboratory baseline ATR system for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data applies a superresolution technique known as high definition imaging (HDI) before the input image is passed through the final target classification subsystem. In previous studies, it has been demonstrated that HDI improves target recognition performance significantly. Recently, however, several other viable SAR i...
متن کاملModel-based SAR ATR System
Recognizing a target in synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) images is an important, yet challenging, application of the model-based vision technique. This paper describes a model-based SAR recognition system based on invariant histograms and deformable template matching techniques. An invariant histogram is a histogram of invariant values defined by geometric features such as points and lines in SAR...
متن کاملMicrowave Imaging Using SAR
Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (Pol.-SAR) allows us to implement the recognition and classification of radar targets. This article investigates the arrangement of scatterers by SAR data and proposes a new Look-up Table of Region (LTR). This look-up table is based on the combination of (entropy H/Anisotropy A) and (Anisotropy A/scattering mechanism α), which has not been reported up now. ...
متن کاملBounding SAR ATR Performance Based on Model Similarity
Similarity between model targets plays a fundamental role in determining the performance of target recognition. We analyze the eeect of model similarity on the performance of a vote-based approach for target recognition from SAR images. In such an approach, each model target is represented by a set of SAR views sampled at a variety of azimuth angles and a speciic depression angle. Both model an...
